Great base for exploring
Friendly and cosy hostel, great location close to train station and scooter hire. Lovely staff, helping and giving any advice you might need. Really homey feeling. Absolutely recommended!

The staff was really friendly and helpful.
The staff was really friendly and helpful. The guy gave me a warm welcome and answered all my questions. The location is good if you plan to take the bus to Taroko National Park from Hualien Train Station.

Value for Money
I liked the ambiance. It was more like a home. It had that homy vibe. I also liked how close the property was with different food stalls and food in the area were quite cheap actually. The hostel was also near the Hualien train station which was also convenient. Post office was nearby too which was good. Staffs were nice. :)

Good breakfast. Location close to train station.
AC is only on during night time in the dorm rooms. It is allowed to turn on the AC in the lobby if there is enough people around. Dorm room on the first floor is not divided by walls from the bathroom or the staircase to go up, so occasionally it can get noisy.
